Meet The Team

President

Mahria Dulapa

I am an all around animal lover! Growing up all I wanted to do was save animals. I was trapping cats with carriers at 12 years old. I have 3 years of rescue experience and saved well over 200 cats so far and hope to save many more! Outside of devoting my time to animals I love to garden and spend time with my friends and family.

Treasurer

Lindsay Clopper

I define myself as a baseball mom, wife, and all around animal lover. We have formally been an active foster for over two years, but have been rescuing as a family  for over  10 years. We have 2 dogs, leopard geckos, and several cats including special needs. You will usually find me at the Hedgesville Baseball fields where I also actively volunteer. We enjoy creating memories as a family and helping others along the way.

Secretary

Erica Carpenter

I consider myself an artsy, Disney-loving, thrill seeker.  You can find me in the pool, crafting, or on the road (singing loudly), looking for my next adventure.  Over the years, I have rescued many furry family members. I’m looking forward to helping save more!

Foster & Volunteer Coordinator

Cherish West

I‘ve been obsessed with kittens my whole life and been involved in animal rescue since I was a teenager. My favorite is fostering bottle babies, the younger the better!  I work as a veterinary technician and I’m excited to bring my skills to use in helping more kitties find loving, forever homes! Medical cases have a special place in my heart. I have a variety of my own “duds” who have taken up permanent residence in my home and my heart.

Outreach & Social Media Coordinator

Autumn Morris

I am all around animal lover! I just recently started to foster, and I’m so happy to be a part of WV Meowtainears. I have two cats named Shadow and Midnight they are my babies. You can find me mostly in the kitchen baking. I own a home bakery business. I also love building legos. I volunteer in helping feed and cloth the homeless in Washington DC!

Fundraising Coordinator

Kyle Dulapa

“Hey y’all I’ve been involved with rescues for the last couple years with my wife Mahria. I’ve had animals my whole life from dogs, cats and smaller fur babies. Since we have been rescuing cats I’ve earned a nick name of “Sir Cat Daddy”.

Adoption Coordinator

Elizabeth Hutzler

“I am a mother, nurse, and animal lover. I have had pets my whole life and, of course, cats are my favorite. I enjoy movies, reading, swimming, and being with my son. I have 2 cats of my own named Jimbo and Pan Pan.”
